CAMWorks is a 3D based CAD (computer-aided design) system, which utilises modern, cutting-edge technologies to make manufacturing more productive and, crucially, more profitable. Fully automated integration tools will also optimise both CNC (computer numerical control) programming and machining, so that you can produce what you want, when you want, reducing project time cycles.

There are also three additional modules.

The first is CAMWorks Nesting: an automatic nesting module for the layouts of SolidWorks parts or assemblies. This module is a fully signed-up and integrated part of the SolidWorks platform and allows for the nesting of both flat or 3D metal sheet parts and assembly models.

There other two are ElectrodeWorks and CAMWorks VoluMill. ElectrodeWorks is an optional module used to design electrodes for electrical discharge machining, whilst CAMWorks VoluMill is another operational module for high-speed milling for 2.5 and 3 axis roughing operations.
